Rooted in Science, Built for Farmers. Across the Philippines, many farmers rely on traditional practices or guesswork when applying fertilizers, leading to waste, low yields, and soil degradation. At the Department of Soil Science, CLSU, we saw this challenge as an opportunity. By combining modern soil testing, data analytics, and digital accessibility, we created Fertilyze, a mobile application that interprets soil data, recommends the right fertilizers, and helps track farm productivity over time.
To empower Filipino farmers through science and technology by providing accurate, data-driven fertilizer recommendations based on real soil analysis. Fertilyze aims to bridge the gap between academic research and field application, promoting sustainable agriculture and improved productivity across communities.
